Our Junior Member Dominik Bär has been recognized for his AI research in the field of social media. Bär wants to use AI to solve social problems and improve social media.
«My research leverages methods from AI and machine learning to study social issues. Here, we use large-scale data from social media, for example, to detect conspiracy theorist, study the spread of misinformation, or analyze the impact of social media on elections.«
