Explore short video insights into the research of our MCML members on our YouTube Channel. PIs and Junior Researchers present their work, ideas, and perspectives on current developments in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Important target groups of our outreach activities are young people and schools. We offer workshops and information events for both teachers and school children, with a special focus on the empowerment of girls.

Teachers at all levels are challenged to design learning environments that equip young people with the skills necessary to engage with artificial intelligence. The KITrans project (2024-2025) focused on cross-institutional cooperation to design a hybrid continuing education program for teachers. The program aimed to contribute to necessary educational system transformation processes. Through concrete examples, practical strategies, and participatory involvement, the project's results enable teachers to design forward-looking lessons.
The project was led by Uta Hauck-Thum, Chair of Primary Education and Didactics at LMU together with Junge Tüftler. The MCML supported the project by providing expertise in AI and further pedagogical training for our Junior Members.
