PSt’in Dr. Silke Launert on the Importance of Responsible and Forward-Looking AI Research
We are pleased to share a video message from of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) on the occasion of the MCML Munich AI Day 2025.
In her address, PSt’in Dr. Silke Launert emphasizes the federal government’s strong commitment to artificial intelligence as a key technology for the future. She highlights the importance of responsible, application-oriented AI research and the role of transfer research in bringing scientific findings into practice.
Dr. Launert commends the Munich Center for Machine Learning for its contribution to Germany’s AI ecosystem and its efforts in strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and policy. She also underlines the value of events like the MCML Munich AI Day in building international networks and encouraging dialogue on ethical, innovative AI.
