Leopoldina Prize for Young Scientists for MCML PI Niki Kilbertus
The National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina honors the AI researcher for his contributions to ethical machine learning
Our PI Niki Kilbertus was awarded the Leopoldina Prize for Young Scientists for his research and teaching achievements.
As a Professor of Ethical Machine Learning, he focuses on the research and development of fair and transparent machine learning. As a pioneer in this field, he formalizes causal concepts of fairness so that they can be integrated into machine learning systems.
