MCML members Zhengyang Xu, Fabian Gülhan, and Azar Kazemi are co-organizing REG 2026, a Grand Challenge taking place as part of MICCAI 2026 in Strasbourg, France. The challenge is supported by MCML sponsorship and brings together researchers to develop and evaluate AI methods for medical image analysis and computational pathology.
REG 2026 provides a common benchmark for advancing machine learning methods in pathology and encourages participants to develop robust solutions for challenging real-world medical imaging tasks. Through standardized datasets and evaluation, the challenge aims to support meaningful comparisons between approaches and foster progress in AI-assisted pathology.
