MCML Junior Member Kamilia Zaripova is co-organizing GRAIL 2026, the 8th Workshop on GRaphs in biomedicAl Image anaLysis, taking place in Strasbourg, France, on September 27, 2026. The workshop is supported by MCML sponsorship and will be held as a satellite event of MICCAI 2026, bringing together researchers working at the intersection of graph-based learning, geometric deep learning, and biomedical image analysis.
GRAIL 2026 explores graph- and topology-informed approaches for medical imaging and related applications, including image segmentation, pathology, surgical support, shape analysis, patient population modeling, multi-omics, and brain connectomics. The half-day program features invited talks, peer-reviewed paper presentations, and opportunities for discussion and networking.
