The Online Machine Learning School for Precision Medicine brings together clinicians and researchers for a week of beginner-friendly training in machine learning for psychiatry and neuroscience. The fully online course combines theoretical sessions with practical training and requires no prior coding experience.
The program covers core machine learning concepts such as cross-validation, overfitting, external validation, and explainable AI, alongside emerging topics including transformers, foundation models, and large language models. Participants in the in-depth track can also gain hands-on experience with NeuroMiner 2.0, a user-friendly machine learning toolbox for clinical neuroscience and neuroimaging research.
The Online Machine Learning School for Precision Medicine is co-organized by MCML Junior Member Clara Vetter and the Chair of AI in Medicine at LMU.
