MCML Thinkathon: Future of Schools

Translating AI Research Into Teaching Practice

   11.12.2025

   3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Technische Universität München Arcisstr. 21 80333 München Raum 4905

The MCML Thinkathon is dedicated to bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and Bavarian educational practice. Its goal is to translate current insights from AI research into concrete workshop kits for teachers.

These kits aim to enable educators to foster AI literacy and meaningfully integrate artificial intelligence into classroom teaching -not by introducing new tools, but through the strategic embedding of current AI concepts into existing curricula.

Each group will work on a specific research area that can be particularly well connected to school subjects -such as AI in biology, medicine, physics, ethics, social sciences, or in computer science and engineering.
