Each autumn, we open our annual Matchmaking Call for highly qualified candidates with an excellent master’s oder graduate degree in a relevant field.

These positions are open to highly qualified candidates interested in a career in machine learning research and pursuing a PhD degree. Positions include full stipend support and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international research environment.

The Call for Fully Funded PhD Positions 2026 has now been released. It outlines the eligibility criteria, application requirements, and other relevant details for prospective candidates.

The online application portal will be open from 15 October to 14 November 2025 at 23:59 (local time).
Applications submitted outside this window will not be considered.
