Benjamin Lange Introduces Elementary School Students to Artificial Intelligence and Answers Their Questions About How AI Works.
MCML PI Benjamin Lange recently welcomed a group of elementary school students from the Städtisches Haus für Kinder am Hollerbusch as part of BR's MünchenHören 2026 project, KI macht Schule. Together, they explored the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, discussing what AI is, how it works, and why it matters.
Answering the children's thoughtful questions, from the basics of AI to ethical considerations, highlighted both the opportunities and the challenges of communicating complex technologies to young audiences. The project aims to inspire curiosity about AI while making cutting-edge research accessible to the next generation.
