MCML Pitch Talks With SAP

Short Recap

On July 7th, we visited the SAP Labs Munich Campus in Garching for another edition of our series “MCML Pitchtalks with Industry”. Some of our Junior Members presented their research.

Yuhao Zang introduced a mixed-variable Bayesian optimization framework for expensive black-box problems in the natural sciences.

Emil Yavurek presented a foundation model for causal sensitivity analysis based on prior data-fitted networks.

Maximilian Muschalik and Alireza Javanmardi talked about their work on uncertainty quantification in machine learning.

SAP presented recent work on AI research and enterprise applications. MCML collaborates with SAP on several levels and is a proud partner. SAP and MCML collaborate on several levels, from research to talent attraction.

We are looking forward to future joint events.
