Students Discover AI Research With MCML at the Bavarian State Ministry
“Lernort Staatsregierung” a Recap
The Bavarian State Center for Political Education again hosted “Lernort Staatregierung", a program at the Bavarian State Ministries and the State Chancellery in Munich, as well as at the offices of the Ministries of Finance and Health in Nuremberg.
The program offers young people a first-hand, interactive look at the structures, responsibilities, and daily work of the Bavarian state government. Through direct interaction with decision-makers in politics and public administration, students gain a tangible understanding of how political decisions are made.
During the visit to the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and the Arts (StMWK), the MCML presented a lecture on AI. The session provided students an accessible introduction to current AI research and the social and political implications of these technologies. The talk was led by MCML Junior Members.
