Björn Ommer Receives 2024 Eduard-Rhein-Foundation Technology Prize
Honored for Breakthroughs in Latent Diffusion Models and Text-to-Image Generation
Our Principal Investigator Björn Ommer has been awarded the prestigious Eduard-Rhein-Foundation Technology Prize 2024 for his contributions to latent diffusion models and text-to-image generators. This award recognizes his globally acclaimed innovations, which have significantly advanced the field.
The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, 24 May 2025 at 3 pm at Flugwerft Schleißheim (Hangar Schleißheim) in Oberschleißheim and honours outstanding achievements in science, business and culture.
Additionally, on Friday, 23 May 2025 at 4 pm, Björn Ommer will present his research at a colloquium hosted by the Technical University of Munich at Theresianum, Room 0606, TUM Main Campus.
