Philosopher and former State Minister Julian Nida-Rümelin celebrates his 70th birthday with the release of his memoir, reflecting on democracy, cultural civility, and the impact of humanism in countering fanaticism. Joined by Alena Buyx, Gert Scobel, and Hortensia Völckers, Nida-Rümelin will lead a thought-provoking discussion on the societal role of culture and philosophy amidst current challenges, such as cancel culture, populism, and political polarization.
