Part 3: Can Ethics Ensure Trustworthy AI?
09.07.2024
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
LMU Munich, Senatssaal, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, 80539 Munich
The MCML, in collaboration with the appliedAI Institute for Europe gGmbH, the Liquid Legal Institute e.V., and the TUM Think Tank, presents a three-part event series on Trustworthy AI.
The third event, "Can ethics ensure trustworthy AI?" addresses the topic of trustworthy AI from a research perspective, focusing on research in AI ethics.
It will bring together three AI ethics researchers and practitioners to discuss the current state of AI ethics in Europe:
What progress have ethicists already made in defining trustworthy AI?
What are some of the opportunities and challenges of sharing AI ethics research beyond academia?
What might the role of AI ethicists look like in the future to help with the development and use of trustworthy AI?
