MCML PI Alena Buyx will speak at the public discussion “Does AI Determine the Value of Life? A Discussion on AI in Medicine” on October 7, 2026, in Munich. The event is part of the “2036 – Healthy with AI?” project, exploring how artificial intelligence could shape the future of medicine.

The discussion will examine how AI is increasingly being integrated into healthcare, from early diagnosis and personalized treatment to AI-supported decision-making and care. Speakers will discuss the ethical and societal questions surrounding these developments, including responsibility, human decision-making, and the role of AI in medical practice.

The event will take place from 19:00 to 20:30 at the Auditorium of the Center for Translational Cancer Research (TranslaTUM), Einsteinstraße 25, Munich.
