The Data Science for Social Good (DSSG) is an intensive two-month summer program that brings together motivated students and researchers to work on real-world data science projects with meaningful societal impact. The program offers participants the opportunity to apply data science methods to pressing social challenges. Fellows collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and are guided by experienced technical mentors and project managers.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to:
- Bachelor’s students nearing graduation
- Master’s students
- PhD students
- Recent graduates
Prior experience in data science or social sciences is beneficial, but not required. A strong interest in coding, data-driven problem solving, and social impact is essential.

Requirements
- Full-time commitment throughout the program
- On-site participation in Munich (no virtual option available)
- Good English language skills
