Munich–Oxford Workshop on the Normative Foundations of AI Ethics

On 16 July 2026, philosophers from LMU Munich and the University of Oxford will come together for a one-day pre-read workshop at LMU Munich.

The workshop follows a pre-read format: draft papers will be circulated in advance, followed by short author framings, critical responses by commentators, and structured discussion. The aim is to create space for in-depth, collaborative engagement rather than short standalone presentations.

Speakers include Sven Nyholm, Jurgis Karpus, Thomas Douglas, and Beatrice Marchegiani.
