InterACT Workshop 2025

INTERACT #3

   01.09.2025 - 04.09.2025

LMU Munich, Department of Statistics, Ludwigstraße 33, 80539 München

This year's four-day InterACT Workshop brings together, for the third time, young and experienced researchers working in interpretable machine learning (IML), a key research focus in the field of trustworthy and fair AI.

The successful workshop format of recent years is deeply embedded in the broader IML Journal Club community, a collaborative network. With participants from various institutions in Germany and Europe, such as the Berlin School of Economics and Law, the Leibniz Institute ATB, the Norwegian Computing Center, Trinity College Dublin, Bielefeld University, the University of Tübingen, and the University of Warsaw, InterACT promotes interdisciplinary exchange and new research collaborations.

The event brings together doctoral students, postdocs, and professors from the IML field to deepen their understanding of their respective research, explore potential collaborations, and develop new project ideas. The goal is to further expand the network, integrate new perspectives and methods into ongoing doctoral projects, and promote academic advancement.

The workshop is co-organized by MCML Director Bernd Bischl and his team.
