MCML Junior Members Featured in BR Abendschau

Jonas Schweisthal and Jonas Schröder Explain LLM SoccerArena

BR Abendschau recently featured LLM SoccerArena, a project from the group of MCML PI Stefan Feuerriegel at LMU Munich. In the segment, MCML Junior Members Jonas Schweisthal and Jonas Schröder were interviewed and explained how the platform uses large language models to predict FIFA World Cup match outcomes.

The project evaluates models such as GPT, Claude, and Mistral by testing their ability to predict soccer matches and tournament outcomes. Results are displayed on an online leaderboard updated daily.
