CVPR Tutorial: 3D Shape Analysis
Short Recap
Together with Lamarr Institute, the Munich Center for Machine Learning presented the CVPR tutorial 3D Shape Analysis: From Classical Optimization to Learning-Based Matching.
The tutorial provided an overview of modern methods for 3D shape analysis, ranging from classical optimization-based matching techniques to recent learning-based and spectral approaches. Participants gained insights into applications in autonomous driving, biomedicine, and augmented/virtual reality, as well as current challenges and emerging directions for future research.
