Städel KI Festival 2026: Imagining Futures in Noisy Times

MCML PIs Björn Ommer, Björn Schuller, and Gitta Kutyniok will contribute to the Städel KI Festival “Imagining Futures in Noisy Times” in Frankfurt on September 4–5, 2026. The two-day festival brings together experts from culture, science, technology, and media to explore how artificial intelligence is changing art, museums, education, and society.

Björn Ommer will deliver a keynote on why AI belongs in museums, while Björn Schuller will explore how machines can recognize and generate human emotions. Gitta Kutyniok will join a panel on trustworthy AI, discussing transparency, reliability, data, and responsible use of AI. The program also features keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, performances, and interactive experiences at the Städel Museum.
