Workshop PETMEI @ETRA 2025

10th International Workshop on Pervasive Eye Tracking and Mobile Eye-Based Interaction

   29.05.2025

   1:45 pm - 5:15 pm

   Tokyo, Japan

PETMEI 2025 explores the future of pervasive eye tracking — the ability to analyse eye movements anytime and anywhere in everyday life.

As eye tracking moves beyond desktop systems into mobile devices, AR/VR, and context-aware environments, new opportunities emerge for more natural interaction, adaptive interfaces, and deeper insights into human behaviour.

Bringing together researchers from fields such as human-computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, psychology, design, robotics, and extended reality, the workshop aims to reconnect and grow the international community around pervasive eye tracking. It will discuss recent technological advances, identify emerging challenges, and help shape future research directions for eye-based interaction in real-world settings. The workshop is co-organized by MCML member Jesse Grootjen.
