Workshop CMCL @NAACL 2025

14th Workshop on Cognitive Modeling and Computational Linguistics

   03.05.2025

   9:00 am - 6:10 pm

   Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA

Understanding human intelligence by constructing human-like machines has historically been a pivotal goal in artificial intelligence. In linguistics, cognitive modeling and computational psycholinguistics have pioneered this direction—aligning computational models with human cognition—to scientifically understand how we learn and use language.

The CMCL workshop, co-organized by MCML member Philipp Wicke and researchers from the broader community, has provided a long-standing venue for such interdisciplinary research on natural language processing (NLP) and the cognitive science of language.
