Welcome to the website of the LWDA 2021 conference, hosted by the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML) from September 01, 2021 to September 03, 2021. The conference will be fully online. For more details see “Attending”.
LWDA, which expands to „Lernen, Wissen, Daten, Analysen“ („Learning, Knowledge, Data, Analytics“), covers recent research in areas such as knowledge discovery, machine learning & data mining, knowledge management, database management & information systems, information retrieval.
The LWDA conference is organized by and brings together the various special interest groups of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (German Computer Science Society) in this area:

FG Information Retrieval: We are happy to announce that this year’s event will host the Netherlands, with two invited keynotes from Academia (Arjen P. de Vries, Radboud University Nijmegen, https://informagus.nl) and Industry (Edgar Meij, Bloomberg, https://edgar.meij.pro).
